There is a “huge interest” in reported Liverpool target Isak Bergmann Johannesson, according to Norrkoping’s chief scout Stig Torbjornsen.
The 17-year-old has already impressed with the Swedish side, recording 11 goals and four assists in just 27 games during his breakthrough season. Recently the winger has been linked with the move to Liverpool, while Serie A giants Juventus and his boyhood club Manchester United are also among the clubs interested in the youngster.
“The interest is huge and it is no secret,” the chief scout explained to Fotbol Direkt.
“It is clear that this is an extremely interesting player and many (clubs) show a great interest. This happens when a player is at a nice age and plays for a good club.”
Torbjornsen claims the transfer fee has not yet been decided but, according to the report, Norrkoping could demand around £7 million for Johannesson.
