Chelsea, who have reportedly been the frontrunners to sign Aaron Ramsdale from Arsenal have withdraw interest in the deal.
Pochettino's side has been strongly linked with the England international who has fell out of Mikel Arteta's starting lineup ever since David Raya's arrival at the Emirates Stadium. Being among the club's best performers last season, this has encouraged Ramdsale to look for alternatives.
Although the London Blues have signed Robert Sanchez from Brighton just a few months ago, the latter's injury has raised the need to sign new goalkeepers. It is seen that Sanchez will be sidelined for several weeks.
As per TEAMtalk, Pochettino's side will not proceed with the presumed deal. The outlet informs of concerns from Stamford Bridge about Ramsdale fitting the profile, which the club is looking for.
Meanwhile, Arteta remains firm in his preference for Raya as the goalkeeper, but he is keen on retaining Ramsdale until the season concludes. This decision is driven by the club's participation in various competitions, including the Champions League.
