The Athletic: Manchester City now want Premier League player Jurgen Klopp sold at Liverpool

Manchester City are interested in signing Southampton forward Danny Ings this summer, according to The Athletic. The Engalnd international is nearing the end of his contract with Saints in 18 months' time, while there are no new contract talks. With Sergio Aguero having injury problems and being 32 years of age, City are looking for a suitable replacement to the attacker at the club. And the report claims Ings is now on the Premier League leaders' radar for the upcomig transfer window. The 28-year-old has already played for Liverpool, however, struggling due to a first-team place competition and injuries. Recently he has also been targeted by another Premier League side, Tottenham.
