Bukayo Saka has admitted that he ‘couldn’t believe’ Arsenal failed to secure their ticket for the Champion’s League next season.

The Gunners suffered a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Monday, May 16 and lost their spot in the top-four race.

After losing points, Mikel Arteta’s side gave Tottenham the opportunity to switch places and raise into the 4th in the table.

Speaking via Evening Standard post-match, the England International seemed a little bit disappointed.

“I just can’t believe how we performed.

“We lost all our duels. We lost all the second balls. We didn’t play out well. Just overall disappointment in every aspect.

“It’s going to hurt a lot of us. Technically it’s not over, we can still do it, but we’ve missed out on two big opportunities to put ourself in a good position.” claimed Saka.
