Tanguy Ndombele and the four Tottenham players who could benefit from Premier League rule change

Premier League clubs are working towards a return as the whole sports battles has been on pause since mid-March due to Coronavirus Pandemic. Premier League clubs voted unanimously for contact training to return, with clubs beginning ‘Phase Two’ from May 28 onwards. The pause in play did come at a good time for Tottenham as it allowed all the club's injured players to return to fitness. Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn are now ready to return. The Premier League are going to discuss whether to allow managers to increase the number of substitutions in a game from three to five. The change that has already take place in Germany following the return of the Bundesliga and it may well be given the green light in the Premier League. So which Tottenham players would benefit from this potential new rule? Tanguy Ndombele Ndombele still needs to find his part in Jose Mourinho's plans. The 23-year-old was hauled off at half-time in their last league game against Burnley after a shocking display. And failed to come off the bench at times under the head coach so far and the rule change could help him to earn more playing time. Gedson Fernandes Fernandes mainly made his appearances as a substitute. Mourinho now has all of his attacking options to choose and having five players allowed to come on from the bench could see him play regularly. Tottenham Hotspur player Ryan Sessegnon Ryan Sessegnon Sessegnon's involvement have been limited due to injuries and he has missed out on the squad even when he has been fit. The potential new rule would definitely benefit the youngster. Troy Parrott Parrott is expected to miss the Premier League restart after having his appendix removed but he will be hoping to add to his four appearances once he returns. The new change will help him. Oliver Skipp Skipp really caught the eye in the FA Cup defeat against Norwich City.  While it will be good for the player if Mourinho can introduce five subs during the game, as is the case with Sessegnon and Parrott, the hard part is going to be making the bench with everyone now back to fitness.
