Everton midfielder Andre Gomes is likely to return to action very quickly. The former Barcelona player had to miss the club games after suffering a serious ankle injury during the Premier League clash against Tottenham back in November. The Portugal international was expected to be out of the game for a long term. However, after three months' absence, Gomes featured for Everton's under-23s behind closed doors and is near to rejoining the first-team squad.
