Summer of Love: Football stars who got married this summer

Several of the world’s top football stars got married this summer. Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos got married to Spanish TV presenter Pilar Rubio on June 16, in Sevilla. Even Cristiano Ronaldo was not invited to the wedding ceremony but David and Victoria Beckham were the star guests alongside Brazilian icons Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos, Real boss Zinedine Zidane and Chelsea star Alvaro Morata.
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil married model Amine Gulse in Istanbul and the couple had their reception at the Four Seasons Hotel. Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine were witnesses. Arsenal team-mate Sead Kolasinac was also at Ozil's special day along with his partner.

Sead Kolasinac, meanwhile, got married to longtime girlfriend Jana Ramin in a very private ceremony earlier this summer. "Congratulations to the beautiful couple Mrs. & Mr Kolasinac. We wish you a wonderful journey as you build your new life together, lots of love,” Ozil posted on Instagram and broke Kolasinac’s marriage news.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan enjoyed an incredible boat ride through Venice with his new wife Betty Vardanyan, the daughter of Armenian politician Mikael Vardanyan. The couple have enjoyed a romance having been linked with each other for the first time just last summer.

Tottenham star Harry Kane proposed to long-term partner Kate in the Bahamas in 2017. The couple have two young daughters, Ivy and Vivienne. The 25-year-old planted a tender kiss on Kate’s forehead in a blissful wedding photo he shared on Instagram.
