Golden State Warriors celebrated a 110-96 victory over Memphis Grizzlies in the conference semifinals and qualified for the conference finals as they await their opponent.
Warriors qualified for the conference final after a 4-2 win in the series.
During the Game 6 win, Klay Thompson recorded 30 points, most of the Warriors, as well as 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
Following the game, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr spoke out on Thompson.
“I couldn’t help but feel overjoyed for Klay, given everything he’s been through, to see him knock down that final three and hold up six fingers and embrace the crowd, and vice versa. It just brought chills to me,” said Kerr via Clutch Points’ Mark Haynes.
Warriors will either face Phoenix Suns or Dallas Mavericks in the Conference Finals.
