Steve Kerr has agreed with Stephen Curry, after the Golden State Warriors' superstar stated he has a lot to accomplish and doesn't have anything to prove.
Curry played an essential role in team LeBron getting their 17-150 win over team Durant in the 2021 NBA All-Star game. The two-time MVP ended the night by putting up 28 points on the scoreboard on 10-of-19 shooting, along with 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
And after the game he was asked what he has yet to accomplish. He replied,
“I have a lot to accomplish. I don’t have anything to prove.”
This bold statement coming from Curry might not sit well with some, but his head coach backed him up.
“He’s exactly right,” Steve Kerr
stated in a video conference.
“Having that sense of comfort in your own skin to know you’ve accomplished so much, you don’t have to prove anything to anybody, and yet you still love the game, you still have a lot to offer, still lots ahead of you, I think that’s probably the most comfortable spot to be in. For Steph, what a great spot to be in. As a result, I think he’s playing at a really high level.”
