Stephen Curry sends 'aggressive’ message to Warriors front office

Stephen Curry has sent a bold message to the Golden State Warriors ahead of the new NBA season. The Warriors haven’t made any significant moves this past offseason, while they were expected to consider trading James Wiseman (they did not) and more likely move one or both of their lottery picks in the 2021 NBA Draft (they did not). Stephen Curry was recently asked on his expectations for the Warriors front office, particularly when it comes to chasing down talent to help them on their quest for a fourth title this year. Via Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area: Curry was asked if he expected the Warriors front office, despite its massive luxury tax bill, to be aggressive in pursuit of players to improve the team. Asked if he wanted them to be “very aggressive.” And asked if he would “be bothered” if they were passive.

“Yes,” he said. “To all those answers.” “Yes, in the sense of we’re having those conversations where you have to be on the same page in terms of what would fill that role and that need,” he said. “But yes, I would expect all three of those questions to be yes.”
