D’Angelo Russell joined the Golden State Warriors on July 7, 2019, as part of a sign-and-trade package for Kevin Durant.
During Warriors latest preseason game with LA Lakers, Russell scored 29 points having played 28 minutes as Golden State won the game with 124-103 score.
Stephen Curry, who scored 32 points, has praised Russell claiming that he’s hungry to make that next step.
“He plays at his own pace and is willing to learn. He’s hungry to make that next step in his career. He’s always asking the right questions. He’s eager to learn and grow. It’s nice to see a guy get paid in the summer and is still hungry to get better,” Curry said, per USA Today.
