Stephen Curry makes claim over upset-likely playoffs as ‘a fan’

The Golden State Warriors, for the first time in quite a while, failed to reach the postseason. Still, the three-time champion Stephen Curry says he’s watching the playoffs “as a fan,” expecting a few upsets. As part of a recent interview with Marc Stein of The New York Times, Curry was asked to predict which two teams would advance to the NBA Finals. So far, the playoffs have seen a pair of first round upsets: the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Trail Blazers and the Milwaukee Bucks’ loss to the Orlando Magic. Curry was reluctant to give a prediction, but he did note that these playoffs are ripe for an upset: Curry and the Warriors finished the 2019-20 season with a league-worst 15-50 record. Injuries played a role in that mark, including those to Curry and Klay Thompson. Source- CLUTCHPOINTS
