Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry scored unbelievable 40 points in just 25 minutes during Thursday’s preseason 143-123 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
He scored 17 points in the first quarter, but no one in the Chase Center saw this coming. Curry erupted for 40 points in 25 minutes, making 14 of his 19 field goal attempts and 6-of-9 from 3-point range.
After the game Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr said: “It looks like Steph is in the mid-season form right now.”
He also added that he will probably sit Curry in one of the team’s upcoming preseason games, but would want to get him up to 30 minutes in order to make him ready for the team’s regular-season debut against the Los Angeles Clippers on 24th of October.
