Statistics: Most hated Premier League clubs considering fans' chants
According to the research conducted by FanChants website, Liverpool are the most hated team in England among every Premier League side.
The results have revealed that there are 50 chants sung about the Merseyside club and they are “leading” in this race.
Then comes Tottenham Hotspur. Research says there are 42 chants sung about Spurs, while Manchester City are third (39 chants) and Manchester United are 4th (34 chants).
Manchester City and Liverpool gifted football fans one of the most epic title races in the history.
Both clubs almost reached 100 points. Manchester City were eventually better than Liverpool, as Pep Guardiola’s side finished the season with 98 points, 1 more than Merseyside club.
Manchester City also won the rest of domestic titles, including Carabao Cup and FA Cup, while Liverpool will face Tottenham in Champions League final.
