Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp’s assistant Zeljko Buvac stepped away from his role at Liverpool, after 17 years alongside Klopp.
The assistant had become increasingly distant at the club in the weeks leading up to his departure, according to The Times.
At half time of Liverpool’s goalless draw with Stoke City Buvac didn’t study video with clips with Klopp as he would usually do.
Instead, he reportedly sat on his own in another part of the dressing room.
"He's the one I've learned the most from. We're like an old married couple, and that's sensational,” Klopp said about the Bosnian.
