Manchester United hit with treble injury blow in first-half against Liverpool
Manchester United’s crucial Premier League clash at home to Liverpool has got off to a very bad start.
Midfielder Ander Herrera and Juan Mata trudged off the pitch after picking up injuries in quick succession.
United’s interim boss wasted no time in getting them off and on came Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard. However, Lingard was forced off moments before the break after going down in the middle of the pitch, clearly being forced back sooner than he should have been. Alexis Sanchez came on for Lingard.
The game is currently goalless at half-time.
