Real Madrid are the club that have been the most mentioned in the race for sigining the PSG star, however, other top European clubs are also in line.
Premier League side Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the player and now the Gunners are being mentioned in the talks as well.
If Mbappe ends up joining the Gunners, he could follow the footsteps of France legend Thierry Henry.
The PSG star could even wear Henry's number at Arsenal, if the Premier League side were to sell Eddie Nketiah, who was being linked with a move during the January transfer window.
Currently, Mbappe wears number 7 at Paris Saint-German. Unfortunately, that number is also not available as Bukayo Saka dons it.
The numbers currently available at Arsenal from 1 to 40 are as follows: 3, 13, 16, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33, 34, 36-40.
However, it remains uncertain whether Mbappe will join the Gunners in the summer.
