Spurs scouts impressed with Benfica starlet’s performance
According to what has been reported by The Sun, Tottenham scouts have been impressed with Benfica youngster Jota’s performances during Europa League Round of 16 second leg match against Dynamo Zagreb.
Bayer Leverkusen scouts have also been noticed watching 19-year-old Jota, who is considered one of the most talented graduates of Benfica academy.
Spurs are preparing for a massive transfer campaign this summer. According to reports, Mauricio Pochettino wants to see at least 4 new players, including Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham and Carlos Soler from Valencia.
Jota has £25 m release clause, but Benfica wants to extend his current contract to increase the clause to £85 m.
