Dutch journalist and football expert Marcel van der Kraan said that Hakim Ziyech would be very happy to join Arsenal if they were interested in him. "I know that the player would like to go to a club like Arsenal. I think if Arsenal did not have Mesut Ozil, it would be the perfect club for Ziyech. Now he has to choose between two or three clubs from the Bundesliga. He’s only 26, has proven himself vs the best in Europe, admires Arsenal as a club & called Ozil his idol",- said Van der Kraan during ‘Sky Sport Transfer podcast’. 26-years old is Arsenal fan. He has revealed who his idol is in a video for Ajax TV with Justin Kluivert from a few years ago. During the video, former Ajax now Roma forward, Kluivert asks who is his idol to which Ziyech replies “Mesut Ozil”.
