Spanish giants to BATTLE with Liverpool for Timo Werner
Barcelona will try to sign Timo Werner in case they miss out on Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
Barcelona have identified the Argentine international as their top transfer target for summer, but will face a tough battle from Real Madrid.
In case Blaugrana fail to sign Lautaro, they will try to sign Werner, who has been a long-time target for Liverpool.
"I know Liverpool is the best team in the world at the moment.” Werner earlier commented on Liverpool rumors (via The Sun).
"When you're linked with that team it makes me very proud.
"There's one of the best managers in the world with Jurgen Klopp, and he is also German.
"Many things suggest that I would maybe fit in very well there with my playing style."
