Southampton head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl has some selection issues ahead of EPL match against Liverpool.
Saints are fighting with several teams to avoid relegation from Premier League, and Liverpool will have a tough match tomorrow.
With Liverpool loanee Danny Ings not allowed to play and Charlie Austin not having enough fitness, Southampton could have only Shane Long available for the match.
Long has scored a goal at Anfield 2 seasons ago, when Southampton reached Carabao Cup final to beat Merseyside club in semifinals.
Hasenhuttl has given updates on Ireland international (via LiverpoolECHO): “Ingsy is not allowed to play so we have to have a new guy in the offensive position. Longy is back in training.
“The flexibility of our game is rising and that means we can play different shapes now.
Mario Lemina will not feature against Reds due to injury, while Saints would welcome back Jannik Vestergaard.
“Jannik trained again with the team too; he might be an option but we have Jack Stephens as an alternative,” added Hasenhuttl.
Match will start tomorrow 20:00 (UK Time).
