Southampton reportedly reach agreement for 18-year-old promising centre-back

Southampton are willing to continue talks with Will Armitage hoping to add him in their impressive youth programme. The Saints have reportedly reached an agreement with Cheltenham Town to sign the teenager. According to Telegraph, Southampton are now looking to complete the deal before the end of the week. The 16-year-old centre-back is the youngest ever player to play a senior game for the Gloucestershire side and has made two Papa John's Trophy appearances.
