Southampton hilariously respond to Tottenham’s social media post about Bale

As known, ‘How it started, how it’s going’ meme has been trending on social media for the past couple of weeks, and Tottenham Hotspur decided to jump on the bandwagon. Spurs decided to feature returning superstar Gareth Bale in the post, with the 30-year-old’s career at Spurs serving as a perfect personification of the meme. Bale arrived at Spurs back in 2007 as a teenager, who primarily featured as a left-back, and it took him more than a year to be involved in his first Premier League win in a Tottenham shirt. In 2013 the Welshman make a significant move to Real Madrid. After seven years in the Spanish capital where he won an astonishing number of titles, Bale has now returned to his old stomping ground as one of the biggest names in world football. But Southampton took issue with the meme and pointed out to Tottenham that the youngster had come through the St Mary’s set up before Spurs bought him. Source- Spurs-Web  Join us on Telegram
