Sources: DAZN chairman MEETS Canelo and DISCUSSES Golovkin fight
DAZN chairman John Skipper has met with Saul Alvarez to propose him a three-fight package, Boxingscene reports.
According to the sources, Golden Boy Promotions, that promotes Canelo, had problems with the boxers recently, which has led Skipper to negotiate with the Mexican superstar directly.
Canelo, who has a $365 mln contract and 11-fights agreement, has been offered to meet Billie Joe Saunders in Las Vegas on May 2, Gennady Golovkin in Las Vegas or Texas on September 12 and Ryota Murata in Japan in late December (in case he is ready after the Golovkin fight).
Triple ‘G’ knows about these offers and is ready to meet his rival on September 12.
