Son Heung-min can help Tottenham pull off transfer deal for defender

Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to break back into the top four come to the end of the 2020/21 season. Jose Mourinho led the club to Europa League football but ultimately, the goal is to get back into the competition they reached the final of in 2018/19. Defensively, Tottenham have been questionable in recent times and that has led to speculation about the potential arrival of a new defender. One name linked with the club is the highly-rated Chinese Super League centre-back Kim-min Jae. The 6ft 3in Beijing Guoan star has been making a name for himself recently for the way he is able to dominate at the back. Several clubs are said to be interested in the 23-year-old, including Lazio and PSV Eindhoven but perhaps Tottenham have something of a trump card. It may be that Spurs winger Heung-min Son proves decisive in any deal for Jae. Son knows Jae very well having played with him for the South Korea national team, and can surely sell the Spurs experience to his international teammate. Source: tbrfootball
