Arsenal are preparing to play Europa League final against Chelsea on May 29, while Liverpool will take on Tottenham in the Champions League final on June 1st.
The Gunners' defender Sokratis, who used to play under Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund, has responded to Klopp's statement that "he was never sure whether or not Sokratis wanted to kill him" and backed Liverpool to win the Champions League.
“I took what Jurgen said as a compliment, of course. I had a good relationship with him, having played for him at Dortmund," said the Arsenal defender.
“He was very good with me. I hope he wins the Champions League final."
