Sky pundit claims 22-year-old will join Arsenal if Mikel Arteta wins Europa League

Tim Sherwood thinks Arsenal's chances of signing Martin Odegaard depend on their result in the Europa League. The 22-year-old has joined the Gunners from Real Madrid on loan, while Mikel Arteta's side are keen on signing him on a permanent deal. However, Sherwood thinks winning the Europa League could give the Premier Leauge club chances of landing the midfielder. “I think they would love to sign him if they possibly could. I would definitely sign him," he said. "I think Odegaard might only come to Arsenal if they finish in the Champions League, which means they need to win the Europa League.”
