Manchester United have reportedly made contact for Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alassane Plea for the summer transfer window.
Plea has enjoyed an impressive season with the German club this term, recording seven goals and eight assists.
Now, with a number of Premier League clubs targeting the 27-year-old, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have started discussions for the Frenchman's possible transfer, according to Sky Germany.
Plea's contract with Monchengladbach expires in 2023. The player is valued at around €24million (£21m) by the German outfit.
Earlier this week, the striker has shared his thoughts on resuming Bundesliga season, with the games having been suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
He told Sport Bild:
"We miss football, it’s our life and so it’s good to start again. We’re ready and happy to start playing again. We’ve been speaking about celebrations. We can’t jump on each other, so we’ll do it differently. ‘We’ll prepare a few little celebrations."
