Six Tottenham players out of contract this season

Tottenham Hotspur signed several players during the summer transfer window. But at the end of the season, some of their players will be out of a contract. Here are six players whose deal ends this season. Dany Rose has seemingly reached the point of no return regarding his Spurs career. He has been left out of Jose Mourinho's Premier League squad and he is likely to leave the club. Cameron Carter-Vickers joined Bournemouth on a season-long deal. But unless that stint on the proved impressive, a 2021 exit from Spurs seems probable. Gedson Fernandes impressed for Benfica and became the first signing of the Mourinho era. The 21-year-old is yet to start a league game for Mourinho and will find it difficult to work his way into his manager's thinking after being left out of the Europa League squad. George Marsh's solitary senior outing for Spurs came against Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup in January 2019, but there is still time for him to make an impression under Mourinho at the age of 21. Gareth Bale made a sensational return to Spurs earlier this month, joining on a season-long loan. Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold, Spurs have the option of keeping the Welshman for longer. The 31-year-old came on as a late substitute in last week’s 3-3 draw with West Ham United, and if he can play and contribute regularly, there is every chance that Mourinho and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will push to prolong the winger’s second coming. Carlos Vinicius is expected to start mainly in cup competitions, will have limited opportunities to make enough of an impression to justify Spurs taking up their option to buy him for £40million. If he can replicate the marksmanship that saw him top last season’s Primeira Liga scoring tables, he will make his new club’s decision significantly easier, according to Football.london.
