Sir Alex left "upset" by Solskjaer and Man Utd star before Europa League final

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Sir Alex Ferguson can inspire him to lift his first trophy as Manchester United boss as the United legend flew out with Solskjaer and his squad to Gdansk. Manchester United will face Villarreal in the Europa League final. And Solskjaer reckons his old boss can inspire them to glory. “He flew out with us and some of the players and staff went to see his documentary,” said Solskjaer. “I sat there thinking about what he’s done for the club. “He’s a special man. Just to have him around when we eat in the restaurant, I’m sure the players, if they're wondering about something, can ask him. “He’s always available for a chat because this is the club that's in his heart. I hope he enjoys it as well because I owe most of my career to him and this club so hopefully he will enjoy the night. “He’s like an encyclopedia of football, even though I got him on a quiz question yesterday. One of the players got the answer before him and I'm sure he's not happy with that!” Bruno Fernandes also paid tribute to Ferguson, 79, and said: “We have a coach who has spent a lot of time with Sir Alex. We trust our coach, the team is confident and we trust ourselves. We know what we have to do and this is our moment to enjoy the final. “I think everyone knows it’s important for us to win trophies. The most important thing is that the team is growing up and improving a lot. Nobody wants to lose and we want to improve and win trophies. We know what we have to do and everyone is confident.”
