Sir Alex Ferguson sends advice to Jose Mourinho after taking Tottenham job

Sir Alex Ferguson has explained why giving youth chance is so crucial to any manager, after Jose Mourinho suggested a change in his philosophy at Tottenham. Mourinho has come in for criticism in the past, for failing to successfully bring through young players into the first-team. Ferguson told talkSPORT: “The thing about young people is, if you give them an opportunity, not only do they seize it, they never let you down. “They have the enthusiasm to do well. If we go back to the young lads of ‘92, you give them an opportunity to play for Man United in front of 75,000 and they don’t want to miss that.
