Sevilla sport director provides update on Jules Kounde situation amid Chelsea links

Sevilla sport director Monchi claims Jules Kounde has chances to leave this summer if some club pay the release clause of €75/80m. The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with the move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues eager to sign him after securing the exit for Kurt Zouma. However, Sevilla have no intention to negotiate with Chelsea as the Premier League side have made a bid last week that they didn't like, according to Monchi. “If there isn't an offer which we feel we can reinvest well, then it won't be accepted. Koundé knows that and he’s a fantastic professional. We had a deadline on August 20 but we received the bid on August 25… and we turned it down,” he said (via sports journalist Fabrizio Romano).
