Sergio Reguilon opens the door to a return "home" to Real Madrid

Sergio Reguilon has admitted there is a "possibility" he could return to Real Madrid later in his career. The Spanish centre-back has joined Spurs during the summer transfer window, after his 15-year spell with Los Blancos. The Lilywhites newcomer has a buy-back clause in his current contract that could see him making a return to Madrid. And speaking about his possible reunion with his former side, Reguilon said on 'El Larguero': "Madrid is my home and where I grew up.

"In the future you never know but the possibility is there... I didn't speak to the boss, it was more with the club.

"I know what they think of me, I had to take a decision. Time will tell. I didn't ask for explanations."

Gareth Bale, who has also recently joined the North London club from the Spanish club, appears much more settled back in the Premier League than he was in La Liga, according to Reguilon. "He seems different to me. The language is everything for him," he added. "He speaks Spanish well, it's not bad, a bit like me in English, but communication, the habits, mean he's happier in England... I have no idea if he'll return (to Madrid)."
