Sergio Aguero is set to leave Manchester City this summer, as a few days ago it was confirmed.
And Chelsea could be one of the main destinations for the Argentine, according to Daily Mail. Aguero has already admitted in recent years: “Chelsea are a great club. They have become one of the most feared in Europe over recent years.
“London would be a really amazing city to live in as well – myself and my wife could be really happy there.”
The 32-year-old would make sense for Chelsea, he s available on a free transfer, and it might just be perfect timing with Olivier Giroud’s contract coming to an end this summer, at least as things stand.
With Christian Pulisic struggling for game time at the Stamford Bridge, he might leave and the number 10 shirt would be available for Aguero. But it’s unlikely to happen this summer.
The number 16 is currently occupied by Edouard Mendy at Chelsea, and the goalkeeper has worn the digits for a number of years during his career, so he is unlikely to give it up.
As things stand, Aguero could choose from number eight, 12, 14, 25, 26, 27 or 30.
