"Sergeant" Lampard will force star to quit Chelsea this summer

Emerson Palmieri wants to quit Chelsea this summer because of Frank Lampard’s management style, according to Tuttosport. The 25-year-old left-back has made 18 appearances this season, but he has not featured in the last five Premier League games. The Italian is frustrated with his situation and he views Lampard as a ‘sergeant’ and is unhappy with Lampard’s level of control over his players. Moreover, Italy boss says Roberto Mancini says Emerson should leave Chelsea if he wants to give himself the best chance of playing at Euro 2020 next summer. “Luca Pellegrini already spent time with the senior squad and can improve. It would be nice if Emerson Palmieri, who hasn’t played much for Chelsea, could come and play in Italy,” said Mancini recently. Juventus and Inter Milan are interested in the defender. His agent, Luis Fernando Garcia, recently told Juvenews: “We know very well about Juventus’ interest but also about Inter. So far there has been no talk of a transfer with Chelsea, nor has there been any official offer. I believe that until May there will be no official offers from the two clubs. In the summer we will decide what to do.” Source: Teamtalk
