Manchester City will play Schalke in the UEFA Champions League round of 16. The two clubs have only locked horns on three occasions competitively-twice in 1970 and once in 2008.
The only time City faced Schalke in the knockout stages of European competition was in the 1969-70 Cup Winners' Cup - with the Citizens knocking them out on route to winning their only major European trophy.
The game promise to be an especially memorable occasion for Leroy Sané, who returns to the club he started his career.

While Sane is waiting for the game, Schalke player Matija Nastasic insists, he is happy to be drawn Manchester City.
"I'm happy that we drew Man City. They will definitely be two special games for me, as I will see a few old faces. We know we'll be playing a very tough opponent, but we will give our best and embrace the challenge!” said Nastasic.
