Sarri hits out at Hazard and heaps praise on Ronaldo during his Juventus unveiling

Maurizio Sarri was introduced to Juventus fans as a manager for the first time. Sarri left Chelsea to become manager of Juventus on a three-year deal. The 60-year-old joined the Blues from Napoli in July 2018 and led them to third in the Premier League and won the Europa League in his one season in charge. He signed a three-year contract worth over €6m per year plus bonuses. The Italian fired a parting shot at Eden Hazard and heaped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo at his unveiling as the new Juventus manager. "We had to accommodate Hazard's characteristics, as he could change the game, but also his presence caused issues in defending that we had to work on," he admitted. And he went on to add that none of the Chelsea players are of the quality of Cristiano Ronaldo, who will represent a step up in class. "I coached some very strong players, but training him will be yet another step forward," he added. "I'd like to help him break some new records."
