Samir Nasri has revealed he prefers Manchester City's Riyad Mahrez to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, adding he would like to play alongside the Blues winger.
Mahrez has started a good season for the Citizens, having adapted to Pep Guardiola's style of play. The 28-year-old has scored 6 goals, assisted 10 times for the club this season, enjoying his best performance against his former club Leicester City on Saturday.
Salah is also enjoying an impressive season playing for the Premier League leaders Liverpool, that are standing near to their first league trophy.
Though both players are sparkling in their clubs, Nasri has revealed he would like to play alongside the City star.
He told
Le Buteur, via
TribalFootball: "Between Mahrez and Salah, I would prefer to work alongside Mahrez. Why? Because he is Algerian and I also like his style of play. Mahrez is a collective player, while Salah is much more an individual player. He only aspires to score goals. I wouldn't say Salah is selfish, but he runs behind goals and statistics. Mahrez, meanwhile, you can play a one-two with him. He is a player with whom you can easily develop."
