Salah warned Liverpool star could leave after Sheffield United incident

BBC pundit Garth Crooks has warned Mohamed Salah that Sadio Mane could leave Liverpool after an incident during Sheffield United game. The Reds beat Sheffield with the score of 2-1, mainly thanks to Sadio Mane. It was his header that was parried by Aaron Ramsdale only for Roberto Firmino to equalise. Then, in the second half, Mane’s brilliance on the left wing saw him cross the ball for Diogo Jota to put Liverpool 2-1 ahead. However, the Senegalese may have left the pitch a little unhappy because he didn’t get himself on the scoresheet. Although he would have done if Mohamed Salah had squared the ball to him when he hit the post in the second half. Crooks wrote on BBC Sport: "Mane had a header saved which rebounded for Robert Firmino to score the equaliser against Sheffield United. He then produced a wonderful cross for Diogo Jota to score the winner. "However when the ball came to Mohamed Salah with Mane well placed alongside him the Egypt international chose to go it alone and hit the post. When Mane politely protested, Salah gesticulated that he had to go for the shot. No, he didn't. "A pass to Mane and Liverpool would have gone 3-1 up. Salah needs to be careful, I've seen him sacrifice his team-mate before for glory. "The reason Liverpool have been so successful is due to the collaboration of their front three. Didn't the Beatles break up over something rather petty?" Source- Give Me Sport Join us on Telegram
