Sadio Mane sends message to Manchester City for 2019/20 season
LIverpool star Sadio Mane says they were ‘a bit unlucky this season in EPL to win the title and beat Manchester City’. Senegal international won Premier League golden boot with Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with 22 goals.
"The league is behind us, Manchester City did so well and for sure they deserved it. We tested them, but we have to say congratulations and now we look forward to the final” Mane told Liverpool’s official website. (via LiverpoolECHO)
"It’s a big target for the season and hopefully we can do it." he added.
Liverpool finished the season second with 97 points. Manchester City won second consecutive EPL title under Pep Guardiola with 98 points.
Pep Guardiola’s side produced a domestic treble, while Merseyside club will play against Tottenham in Champions League final.
