What Ryan Giggs told Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to persuade Manchester United to buy Daniel James

Ryan Giggs has revealed details of the conversation he had with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that persuaded the manager to sign Daniel James for Manchester United. United legend and current Wales manager Giggs handed James his Wales debut 10 months ago. He says the winger has plenty of potentials. James completed his £15m move this summer. The 21-year-old was rewarded for his debut goal against Chelsea last week with the first start for his club against Wolves. "Yeah, Ole asked me about him," Giggs told the Premier League. "I just told him that he's a player with plenty of potentials, obviously really quick. A great lad, someone who you want in the dressing room, great character. "So yeah, especially for the money it was a no brainer really because he is a big talent, and since Christmas, he's just got better and better and better."
