Manchester City fans believe that Riyad Mahrez has accidentally revealed that this is Fernandinho's last season with the Citizens. Fernandinho's contract with the club ends at the summer of 2020 and Mahrez appears to have spilled a secret. Riyad Mahrez and Benjamin Mendy were quizzed by Sky Sports in a Christmas present wrapping contest as the presenter asked: "Which City star announced at the start of the season that it would be his final year at City". To which Mahrez replied: "David and Fernandinho".
