Royal Ascot Day Five – Malcolm Tomlinson marks your card

Horse racing commentator Malcolm Tomlinson hit the target with Dandalla (13/2) on Friday and expects Quadrilateral and Pinatubo to win on the final day of Royal Ascot. The former runs in the Coronation Stakes, while Pinatubo goes for gold in the St James’s Palace Stakes. Tomlinson exclusively told VBET: “I can’t wait for the final day of Royal Ascot, especially the two feature races. “First up is the Coronation Stakes for fillies (2.25) – and what a good race this is going to be. “I’m interested in the USA horse, Sharing, who could be anything, but I’m coming down on the side of QUADRILATERAL from the Roger Charlton yard. “She should be a lot fitter for that run at Newmarket and looks to have a great chance.” Of the St James’s Palace Stakes (3.00), Tomlinson said: “This is all about PINATUBO. Can he regain his reputation after finishing only third in the 2,000 Guineas as a hot favourite? “I think he can do just that. Wichita, who was second in the 2,000 Guineas reopposes for Aidan O’Brien, but I just fancy Charlie Appleby’s inmate to turn the form around. “He’s another horse that will have come on for the run and I honestly think he’s the best bet on the card under William Buick. “Good luck, everyone!”
