Roy Keane issues verdict on Manchester United start to the season

Roy Keane has been unimpressed over Manchester United's start to the season. The Reds lost their opening game of the season to Crystal Palace and had a Bruno Fernandes penalty in the 100th minute to thank for their 3-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion. It has left Keane unimpressed with the way the side have defended so far this season and the number of chances given up. Speaking on Sky Sports, the United legend also said that there are question marks across the pitch. He said: "Obviously, they would’ve been pleased with the result against Brighton, I know it’s early days, but they’ve given up a lot of goals and a lot of chances against Palace and Brighton. The signs aren’t great. The amount of chances they’ve given up in the first two games. "It would be different if it was against Man City or Liverpool, but you’d expect them to do better against Palace and against Brighton. Okay, everyone’s said how poor they’ve been defensively, but as a whole team, it’s not been great."
