Rosset: “I do not expect miracles from Roger Federer on clay”

Former World No.9 Marc Rosset has claimed that he doesn’t expect any miracles from 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer in the clay-court season. "I do not expect miracles, and I think he will just play Madrid and French Open to avoid what he went through last year.” However, Rosset doesn’t rule out the chance that the 37-year-old Federer can win the French Open. "With Roger everything is possible. But it will be a different surface than the hard, with other rivals," said Rosset. "It's obvious that the best players in the world are able to win on all the surfaces now. But clay is clay: a specific surface that fits certain kind of games like Rafael Nadal or Dominic Thiem's."
