Ross Barkley has revealed Tammy Abraham's role in his decision to join Aston Villa on a season-long loan deal. After the arrivals of Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech at Chelsea this summer, the midfielder dropped down the pecking order under head coach Frank Lampard - despite finishing last season strongly. In his first interview as a Villa player, Barkley has spoken out about the conversation he had with Abraham - who had a loan spell at Villa Park - regarding signing the club. "It's really exciting and I spoke to Tammy and he explained how he loves the club and said how good it is when the fans were there," Barkley said to Villa TV.
