Romelu Lukaku has reportedly responded to Chelsea's mega-money offer to sign him this summer.
The Blues offered the Inter Milan striker a salary of over €10million (£8.5million) a season - and were willing to pay Inter €130million (£110.6million) for him.
However, according to
La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku has turned down their offer, 'politely saying no' and delivering a damning blow to Chelsea's summer ambitions, with the 28-year-old wanting to stay with the Nerazzurri.
The Belgian international has expressed his desire to stay in the Italian capital, and refused to continue negotiations with his former club.
Lukaku initially joined Chelsea from Anderlecht in 2011 but only went on to make 15 appearances before joining West Brom on-loan.
