Romelu Lukaku has informed his Manchester United fans that major changes are expected within the next seven days.
The Belgium striker is likely to leave Old Trafford this summer after failing down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Lukaku travelled with the rest of United’s first team players to Australia earlier this week but was left out of the squad which beat Perth Glory 2-0 on Saturday due to a ‘small problem’. “You guys will know something next week,” he told reporters after goals from Rashford and James Garner handed United their first win of the tour. “Have I told Lukaku I want to keep him?” added Solskjaer. “My private conversations will remain private. That’s my privilege.”
Lukaku has recently been linked with Inter Milan following the appointment of long-time admirer Antonio Conte as manager though there has been no bid tabled so far..
The Belgium forward has scored 15 goals in his 45 appearances during the 2018/19 season as well as he has provided 4 assists.
