Romelu Lukaku repeats unique Diego Maradona achievement
Belgium forward Romelu Lukaku has become the first player since Diego Maradona to score brace in two World Cup games in a row.
The striker has scored twice in the first half of the Group G game against Tunisia (5-2). He has also scored a brace against Panama in the first clash of the tournament for Belgium (3-0).
Last time a player was able to reach that achievement was Argentina legend Diego Maradona, who scored a brace in each of two consecutive games in 1986 tournament.
Gary Lineker was able to do the same a week earlier than Argentina talented striker.
Romelu Lukaku has scored four goals in the current tournament and is sharing the top-goalscorer position with Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo.
