Roman Abramovich ‘Will not sell Chelsea’ as he pulls the plug on any sale

Roman Abramovich has no intention of selling Chelsea after seeing his love for the club reignited by the start Frank Lampard has made as a manager. His issues with the UK government had fuelled speculation that he may look to sell the Premier League giants. The Telegraph has now revealed he has no intention of striking a deal. It is claimed a Middle East-based consortium was quoted £2.5billion for Abramovich's but pulled out of a deal due to 'complications relating to a proposed £1.2bn redevelopment of Stamford Bridge.' Abramovich also rejected a bid from Britain's richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the chairman and CEO of petrochemicals giant Ineos. Source- The Telegraph
