Roman Abramovich has no intention of selling Chelsea after seeing his love for the club reignited by the start Frank Lampard has made as a manager.
His issues with the UK government had fuelled speculation that he may look to sell the Premier League giants.
The Telegraph has now revealed he has no intention of striking a deal.
It is claimed a Middle East-based consortium was quoted £2.5billion for Abramovich's but pulled out of a deal due to 'complications relating to a proposed £1.2bn redevelopment of Stamford Bridge.'
Abramovich also rejected a bid from Britain's richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the chairman and CEO of petrochemicals giant Ineos.
